Happy Lantern Festival

The 15th day of the first lunar month is the Lantern Festival, also known as Shangyuan Festival, Yuanye and Lantern Festival. The first month is the first month of the lunar calendar. The ancients called night "Xiao", so they called the fifteenth day of the first month "Lantern Festival".

In today evening, the Chinese people have always enjoyed a series of traditional folk activities, such as appreciating lanterns, eating dumplings, Eating yuan xiao ( sweet dumplings made with glutinous rice flour) , guessing lanterns riddles, setting off fireworks, and so on.
