Nowadays, the sewing performance index of differential lockstitch sewing machines is no longer so simple as to avoid common faults such as needle breakage, jumper float, etc., but to achieve stability and aesthetic appearance of stitches. Examples, reverse stitching, high and low-speed stitching, seam shrinkage rate (commonly known as draught), seam layer displacement rate (commonly known as dislocation), etc. These are important reference indicators for choosing high-quality sewing machines. The standard value of a differential lockstitch machine is ≤ 0.5%, while the standard value of a traditional lockstitch sewing machine is ≤ 1.5%.due to the addition of the feeding presser foot mechanism and lower differential feeding mechanism, the most significant performance advantage of the differential lockstitch machine is that the flatness of the product made by the differential lockstitch machine is much better than that of the ordinary lockstitch machine, which can be clearly seen from the visual appearance. However, if there is no good fitting accuracy and assembly accuracy of parts, the shrinkage rate of the seam can not meet the expectations, and even can not compare with the ordinary flat sewing machine, and will affect the performance of reinforcement seam and high and low speed, resulting in an uneven length of stitches, obvious shrinkage of the fabric, and even damage to fabric caused by reverse sewing in serious cases. This indicator is very different for machines of different brands.
