If the presser foot is too high, it may also cause the fabric to move erratically or not move at all.

If you encounter issues with the bottom thread being too short, first check the depth of the knife blade; a shallower blade depth will result in shorter bottom thread. Secondly, check if the looper thread is too tight. The proper tension for the bottom thread is one that can be pulled by hand after the looper thread is engaged. Additionally, inspect the shuttle for deformations, as a deformed shuttle can affect bottom thread tension during rotation.

If the thread cannot be cut, there could be two possible reasons. First, the blade depth may be too shallow to cut the thread; adjust it to a suitable depth. Second, the thread take-up angle may be too large or too small. To address this, change the parameters and check if the take-up angle falls within the range of 310° to 315°.
