How to make preparations before starting the thick thread sewing machine

A thick thread sewing machine is often used for sewing thick materials, such as jeans, sofa seat covers, etc. All equipment shall be prepared before starting to work to ensure the normal operation of mechanical equipment.

When using the sewing machine, we should also make preparations to ensure that the machine can complete the sewing operation normally. The following steps should be taken before the machine is used:

1. Before the machine starts to operate, pay attention to checking whether the belt is well-sleeved. If the machine is not used for a long time, the belt may become loose, so we must check it clearly before use to avoid dangerous situations.

2. Check whether there is a bobbin thread. If the bobbin thread is used up, replace it with a new bobbin thread. Without bobbin thread, the thick-thread sewing machine cannot perform sewing operations. To change the bobbin thread, pull the bobbin thread upwards.

3. Insert the thread reel on the upper column, pull it to the right, pass it through the thread arm, and then pass it through the needle hole.

4. Place the upper thread and lower thread behind the needle, place the cloth to be sewn on the needle plate, fix the cloth with the presser foot, put down the needle, and the thick thread sewing machine can start to operate.

No matter what kind of equipment is used, it is necessary to make preparations for a startup, such as placing auxiliary workpieces in place, equipment commissioning, machine preheating, etc. These seem unimportant, but the preparation is insufficient, and the problems encountered by the equipment cannot be solved in time.
