1. Description of Mechanical Parts Functions
1) Adjustment nut: Limits the cylinder stroke length.
2) Presser foot cylinder: Controls the up and down movement of the presser foot.
3) Presser foot switch: Presser foot control switch, located on the left side of the machine head. A single click lowers the presser foot.
4) Mold frame: Secures the welding wheel.
5) Welding wheel: The mold for sewing, cutting, and processing workpieces.
6) Cooling fan: Dissipates heat from the vibrator, allowing it to operate for a long time.
7) Welding wheel cylinder: Controls the up and down movement of the welding wheel.
8) Machine head: Fixes the rotation of the welding wheel.
9) Pressure gauge: Indicates the air pressure applied by the welding wheel on the workpiece.
10) Air pressure valve: Adjusts the air pressure as needed, and the adjustment nut must be tightened after adjustment. The adjustment range is generally between 1~10 Kg/cm².
11) Table top: Platform for processing workpieces.
12) Oscillator box: Controls the motion program of the machine.
13) Vibration cylinder: Secures the vibrator and steel mold.
14) Machine frame: Supports the machine body.
15) Foot pedal: Located on the right, controls the operation of the welding wheel and steel mold.
16) Welding wheel pedal: Located on the left, controls the up and down movement of the welding wheel.
1) Amplitude display: Indicates whether the ultrasonic vibrator and steel mold are in proper resonance. Rotating the wave adjustment knob can change the reading. The reading is generally adjusted to below 50.
2) Current meter: Indicates the working current of the ultrasonic system. The no-load reading represents the resonance state between the welding head and the system, normally 0.4-0.6A depending on the output power. Under load, the reading typically ranges from 1.0-2.5A, depending on the contact area and the size and complexity of the welding wheel.
3) Power output: Adjusts the output power. Changing the file position will cause the current meter reading to change.
4) Upper mold speed: Adjusts the rotational speed of the welding wheel. Higher numbers increase the speed, and lower numbers decrease the speed.
5) Lower mold speed: Adjusts the rotational speed of the ultrasonic steel mold. Higher numbers increase the speed, and lower numbers decrease the speed.
6) Manual/Automatic switch: In automatic mode, the welding wheel and steel mold operate automatically. In manual mode, the operation of the welding wheel and steel mold is controlled by the right foot pedal. Pressing the foot pedal starts their operation, and releasing it stops their operation.
7) Overload indicator: The red indicator light turns on, indicating the equipment is overloaded. The machine should be immediately stopped, and the cause should be investigated before continuing operation.
8) Wave adjustment: Adjusts the resonance state between the ultrasonic vibrator and the steel mold. Turning the knob clockwise or counterclockwise will change the amplitude display reading, which should generally be kept below 50.
9) Wave test: Tests whether the ultrasonic system is operating normally. Press the wave test switch for 1-2 seconds and check if the overload indicator lights up and the amplitude and current meter readings are within the normal range.
10) Power switch: Controls the power supply to the entire machine. The switch has a red indicator light that illuminates when the power is turned on.
