At present, companies that have newly invested in the production of n95 face mask machines have already had a large number of orders until the delivery time, there have been many problems that cannot be delivered due to the lack of important parts. Among them, ultrasound and embossing wheels are the main ones.

The role of ultrasonic generator in mask production line:

In the mask production process, the most critical part is the welding of the mask, which has a decisive effect on the filtering effect and sealing of the mask. Popularly speaking, the ultrasonic generator can make the material better shape and cut by generating resonance, a perfect ultrasonic generator determines the quality of the welding. A semi-automatic n95 face mask machine is generally equipped with a 15k and Two 20k ultrasonic generators.

Classification of Ultrasonic generator:

According to frequency band: There are 7 types in total, each frequency tracks different bands. N95 masks are usually composed of 5 layers of non-woven fabric and 1 layer of fleece-sprayed fabric. Therefore, high-power long-wave 15K，2600W is required for welding during the filming process. Because the material is relatively thin, only 20K is needed for ear strap welding. 1500W power can meet the use of ultrasonic ，It will perform FM tracking when starting up and adapt the mold. Generally 14.65-14.85 is a normal state, the output power will be unstable below this range, the power supply or grinding head will be damaged if the power is higher than the (burning).

According to the frequency modulation method, it is divided into two types: 1, automatic frequency tracking and manual frequency modulation.

The ultrasonic vibrator is composed of an ultrasonic transducer and an ultrasonic horn to form an ultrasonic vibration system. Ultrasonic transducer is a device that can convert high-frequency electrical energy into mechanical energy. Ultrasonic horn is a passive device that does not produce vibration itself, but only changes the vibration input from the ultrasonic transducer before transmitting it out.

Ultrasonic transducers of face mask machine can produce regular vibrations under appropriate electric field excitation, and their amplitude is generally about 10μm. Such amplitude is not enough to directly complete the welding and processing procedures. Therefore, the transducer is connected to a reasonably designed ultrasonic horn, and the amplitude of the ultrasonic wave can be changed in a large range. As long as the material strength is sufficient, the amplitude can exceed 100μm.

When the ultrasonic horn performs longitudinal expansion and contraction vibration, the movement directions of the mass points on the left and right sides of a certain cross section in the middle are just opposite, which is equivalent to the existence of a relatively static nodal plane. This nodal surface is called a node, which is also the best fixed point of the vibrator. Deviation from this node will reduce the working efficiency of the vibrator, commonly known as leaky wave.
