The overlock sewing machine cuts cloth while sewing, so a large number of cloth scraps will accumulate inside and outside the machine every day.

Therefore, the most important work of daily maintenance is to remove these cloth scraps. Use a brush to completely remove the outer surface and interior of the workbench and head, especially pay attention to removing the cloth scraps blocking the oil hole.

For the overlock sewing machine without automatic oil filling function, it must be ensured to add oil more than 3-4 times per shift and control less oil filling each time. After adding oil, turn the wheel disc to make the oil penetrate into the friction surface before sewing. For the overlock sewing machine with an automatic oiling function, oiling operation is not required, but the oil quantity needs to be checked. If it is found that the oil quantity index is close to the lowest scale mark, it shall be filled in time.
