Sewing Machine Enterprises Busy Exhibiting Overseas

Towards the end of the year, sewing machine enterprises have strengthened the cultivation of overseas market development. So far in October, a number of sewing machine enterprises have intensively participated in relevant overseas exhibitions with a variety of innovative products and set off a round of Chinese sewing machine tide in the overseas market once again after CISMA2023.

Saudi Stitch & Tex Expo 2023 was held from October 9 to 11 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The exhibition exhibits a wide range of categories, covering the whole industry chain of textiles, fabrics and accessories, printing and dyeing, and apparel. Since its launch in 2007, it has been held alternately in Cairo, Egypt, and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and has significant international influence in the Middle East and North Africa. This year's exhibition attracted more than a hundred enterprises and nearly 10,000 professional visitors.

Vietnam is the world's third largest textile and garment producer, with a high demand for garment equipment, and is one of the most important export markets for sewing machines in China. ASEAN jumped to China's largest trading partner, while Vietnam is one of the ten ASEAN countries with the most development potential, coupled with the fact that China and Vietnam share a border with each other and have similar cultures, the Vietnamese market has a natural attraction for Chinese sewing enterprises. 2023 21st Vietnam International Textile & Garment Industry Exhibition (VTG) was held from October 25th to 28th in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This year's show attracted more than 500 exhibitors from 12 countries or regions, with an exhibition area of about 20,000 square meters and more than 13,000 visitors. Many sewing machine enterprises in China have advanced equipment and technology on display at the show. In addition to textile, garment, printing, and dyeing equipment, there are also parallel exhibitions such as shoe-making equipment at the same time.
Texprocess Addis Ababa 2023 was held from November 3 to 6 in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. With the theme of "Best Technology for Sustainable Production", the exhibition is dedicated to presenting cutting-edge technologies and full life-cycle solutions in the field of textile and apparel. According to the organizer, there were 290 exhibitors from 29 countries and 5,150 professional visitors from 52 countries. More than ten Chinese sewing companies, including Le Jiang, Xiangke, Woden, and Hehe, participated in the exhibition. Last year's show had 205 exhibitors from 29 countries and attracted 4,050 visitors from 46 countries. 2024 is the show's 10th anniversary, and the organizers expect to attract 400 exhibitors from 50 countries and 7,000 professional visitors to the show.

According to the association's statistics, this year, despite the overall weakness of the overseas market, China's exports of sewing machinery products to Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and other Central Asian markets, as well as Brazil, Mexico, and other parts of the Latin American market showed year-on-year growth. Among them, the first three-quarters of China's sewing machinery industry in Russia, Central Asia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other markets, as well as the Algerian market in Africa, the year-on-year increase in export value is more than 60%. It can be seen that the prospects and potential of the overseas market for sewing machines are still strong, and the vast number of emerging markets urgently need to be expanded by the industry's deep plowing.
