Debugging for blind-stitch machine

The blind-stitch machine (Fig. 1), also known as the edge sewing machine, is designed and manufactured mainly for the sewing of the collar, the internal stumbling of the collar corner, the cuffs, trouser cuffs, and the hem of the coat.

It adopts 103 single-line chain stitches. Due to the surface concealment and good stretch of its stitch, it has been used for quilting positioning by many Knitted Warm Cotton Pants manufacturers in recent years. Due to the change of its initial use, some new problems will inevitably arise. Here, some solutions are discussed on the actual situation encountered by the author for your reference.

Because the bottom fabric and surface fabric used in warm pants are not only thin, soft and elastic, but also the silk cotton material sandwiched in the middle is ever-changing, and the friction coefficient between them is different, it is easy to have uneven bottom or surface after sewing. Basically, each newly purchased blind-stitch machine needs to be re debugged.

The first is to adjust the parallelism of the cloth feeding dog. it should be adjusted to be high in the front and low in the back or flat in the front and back. Never adjust to being low in the front and high in the back. Let the cloth feeding dog grasp the fabric instead of gnawing on the fabric, which can effectively reduce the dislocation of the upper and lower layers.
