◆Key point 4: Chain stitching time

When making knitted fabrics, the beating wheel should be adjusted so that the needle tip of the five-thread overlock sewing machine needle just passes through the chain stitch looper thread, and the beating wheel is just off the thread.

 

If the thread is too tight, the fabric will wrinkle. When adjusting, we can move the wires on both sides of the wire-beating wheel to the direction of the operator as much as possible to increase the amount of wire beating. If it still doesn't work, we can also take the thread out of the five-thread small thread clamp to make the thread tension smaller.

◆Key point 5: The height of the feed dog

When making knitted fabrics, the height of the cloth feeding teeth of the five-thread overlock sewing machine should be adjusted properly. If the cloth feeding teeth are too high, the fabric will not move, that is, the fabric will get stuck. Adjustment method: When the cloth feeding is not affected, we can lower the cloth feeding teeth as much as possible, so that the fabric is not easy to wrinkle.

◆Key point 6: Presser foot spring

There is a spring in front of the presser foot of the five-thread overlock sewing machine, which is fixed on the rod on which the presser foot is installed. This spring should be adjusted so that when the presser foot is lifted, the front of the presser foot is still pressed against the needle plate so that the front and rear of the presser foot are always in contact with the needle plate no matter whether the presser foot is lowered or lifted so that the chain The stitches of the type looper always have chain stitches, which is not easy to cause thread jams. When this spring is used to make woven fabrics, as long as there are five threads, it must be in this state, otherwise, it will cause thread jams when the fabric starts to sew.
