How to change needle position on industrial sewing machine?

A straight joint is a needle commonly used in building sewing. A straight line stitch is straight with a line at the top (upper line) and a line at the bottom, which interlock at regular intervals. The adjustment for straight-line stitches is pin length. A small short pin is tight and difficult to reduce, and the longer the pin, the easier it will be to reduce. A long straight line stitch is considered to be a quilting stitch that means reduction. When a straight stitch wrinkles your fabric, it can usually be solved by increasing the length of the stitch. Tension adjustments can be made to the surface line of the industrial sewing machine or to the screw on the shuttle housing. Refer to the sewing machine manual before making adjustments.

When sewing straight stitches, the position of the stitches can be changed on an industrial sewing machine. By changing the pin position, you can change the guide plate you are using to keep the stitching straight at the position you want. The number of needle positions you can change depends on your sewing machine options. The industrial sewing machine with the zigzag option has at least three pin positions. The pin position will be right and left.

Saw-tooth stitches are similar to continuous lines of the letter W, and each W is connected to each side of the letter W. The common use of serrated stitches is to treat rough edges as seams. As a seam finish, one edge of the pin is sewn from the edge of the fabric so that the thread of the fabric is surrounded by the line of the zigzag pin and the fabric cannot be worn due to zigzag pins.

The length and width of the zigzag pin can be adjusted. The shorter the trace length, the narrower the W formation. Pin width adjusts the width formed by W. Saw-tooth stitches are also used as stretch stitches when other options are not available. If elastic or knitted fabrics are to be sewn, narrow serrated stitches should be used instead of wide serrated stitches.
