How to use the sewing bar tacking machine?

(1) Operation method

Turn on the motor, the machine starts idling, step on the left pedal, raise the presser foot, and put in the sewing material. Align the position to be bartacking with the center of the presser foot, raise the left pedal, the presser foot and the lower carriage clamp the sewing material, and then step on the right pedal and release it immediately. Within a few seconds, the bar tacking machine will automatically complete the bartacking , Slowing down, stopping and other processes.

(2) Major adjustments

1. Bar tacking length : When the bar tacking length needs to be adjusted, loosen the wing nut on the its length adjustment crank on the right side of the machine, and after moving the length scale to the required position, tighten the wing nut.

2. Bartacking width : The adjustment device is on the left side of the bar tacking machine. When adjusting, first loosen the lock nut and then loosen the adjustment screw. Move to the position of the ruler as required, tighten the adjustment screw, and finally tighten the lock nut to avoid changes in the width of the tacking due to the change of the position of the vibrating parts during work.

3. Adjustment of the tension of the upper and lower thread: When the upper thread is too loose or too tight, the upper thread will float or break. At this time, it can be adjusted by the upper thread central threader. Usually the small thread tensioner should not be too tight; the lower thread tension can be adjusted. It is adjusted by the bobbin screw on the bobbin case.

4. Presser foot pressure : When the bar tacking machine is working, in order to ensure the accuracy and beauty of the seam, the presser foot is required to press the sewing material firmly on the lower carriage without sliding. Hook on the outer second gear or outer third gear groove of the pressure adjusting hook to increase the pressure of the presser foot.
