Interlock Sewing Machine, beginning, ending and passing

Interlock sewing is folding quilting + curved needle hemming.

There are two differences between it and the sewing machine. First, the interlock sewing is not operated at the selvage. For example, if the hem turns back 2 cm, then the sewing is carried out at the front and 2 cm away from the bottom after turning back; Secondly, there is no cutter for interlock sewing, so it won't lock the edge and cut the cloth at the same time like the sewing machine!

In fact, the function of interlock stitch can be used in both shuttle weaving and knitting, but when making elastic fabrics such as knitting, it is more necessary. Therefore, as I said before, if knitting is often done, the interlock stitch sewing machine still needs to be equipped.

Notice the beginning, the end, and the crossing of the barrier in three places!

1. Start

First of all, it should be noted that the sewing machine can not be seamed empty.

The circle seam is easy to operate, just place it under the foot! It would be better to start somewhere less visible!

Note that the single bandage seam, if directly placed under the foot, the edge is easy to plug into the pinhole, so first sew a piece of a scrap of about the thickness in front, when the difference is 1-2 pins, put the cloth behind the scrap (under the foot), so it will go smoothly.

If the knitted cloth is stuck into the pinhole, try to take it out slowly, the more anxious the tragedy! Did I try to remove the needle plate or did I leave a hole in the knitted fabric that was delicate...

2. End

The end is easy, and the customer service for the machine will teach you. Lift up your foot, turn clockwise 1-2 turns, and you can take out the cloth!

Clockwise is actually an inversion of the direction in which the machine works, and clockwise is turning backwards.

3. Crossing the Barrier

During the process of stitching, there are usually 1 or 2 places that are particularly thick, such as the two side seams on the pendulum.

It takes a little bit of cross-cutting gestures and techniques:

Slow down the sewing speed first

Guide the left hand before and after pressing on the foot

Lift the foot with the right hand in time
