Sewing skills - double needle operation

Double needles are usually used to sew decorative stitches. You can use two top threads of the same color or two top threads of different colors for sewing.

It is more convenient and neat to use double-needle stitching in sewing trouser leg decorative stitches and on other occasions. The operation of the double needle is slightly different according to different models.

The basic sequence is to install a double needle; Manual threading; Select the stitch and adjust the appropriate height; Turn the hand wheel to confirm the needle dropping position; Start sewing. When using double stitches, pay attention to manual threading. It is recommended to use straight stitches. If using other stitches, pay attention to adjusting the width to prevent the presser foot from being hit when dropping the needle.

In addition, electronic models and the above models basically have double-needle mode keys, which can automatically adjust the safe stitch width range for us.

When replacing a double needle, be sure to note that the circular arc side of the top of the needle faces forward and the plane side faces back! After installation, tighten it with a ring screwdriver!

When threading, you need two spools! Not a thread through two pinholes!

Take out our spare wire bracket and learn how to thread! Do not clip the second wire into the slot marked 6 at the end of the threading step!

Thread manually! Do not use fast or automatic threading devices!

Some electronic and computer models have built-in double needle mode. Remember to turn on the double needle mode! In this way, there will be a safe default value for width adjustment after selecting stitches! (I'm no longer afraid that the stitch width won't be adjusted.)

Attention must be paid to electric and some electronic models when using double needles! The stitch should not be too wide! Don't be too wide! In particular, the pattern stitch is too wide, and the presser foot is hit when the needle is dropped, resulting in needle breakage, which is terrible!
