Preventive Maintenance of Pattern Sewing Machine

If the preventive maintenance of the Pattern Sewing Machine is to find problems, the maintenance is to prevent problems. It is an important work that needs to be carried out for a long time. It also needs to be carried out from three aspects: time, degree, and content.

► Preventive maintenance time is divided into daily and regular maintenance. Former is the maintenance work that should be carried out every day. Latter is the maintenance work that needs to be carried out regularly every week or every month or even every year;

► The maintenance level is divided into small-scale maintenance and major. Small scale maintenance refers to the work of directly maintaining the machine surface without dismantling the machine, while major maintenance refers to the work of dismantling the machine to a certain extent, so as to carry out more thorough maintenance;

► Maintenance includes cleaning and lubrication. Cleaning is the process of cleaning the whole machine and parts to ensure that there is no dirt and dust. Lubrication is the process of filling the whole machine and parts with lubricating oil to ensure that the machine runs smoothly without obstacles. Frequent cleaning and lubrication are the two major maintenance contents to ensure the normal operation of the pattern machine.

It needs to be carefully cleaned. When cleaning the feeding teeth, remove the screw between the needle plate and the feeding teeth, remove the cloth wool and dust, and add a small amount of sewing oil. All parts on the surface and in the panel shall be cleaned frequently, dirt shall be removed, kept clean, and a small amount of sewing oil shall be added.

Special sewing machine oil must be used for pattern machine oiling and lubrication. The oiling parts include each oil hole on the machine head, the upper shaft and the parts connected with the upper shaft, the parts in the panel and the movable parts connected with each part, the lubrication presser foot bar, and needle bar, and the parts connected with them, the lower parts and movable parts of the machine board, etc.

Whether it is a newly purchased pattern sewing machine, a pattern machine that has been used for a period of time, or a pattern sewing machine that has been out of use for a period of time and needs to be reused, it needs to be maintained.
