Tips for adjusting the position of flat needle and rotary hook

Now there are many small processing plants in the market, one is to reduce costs, and the other is the shortage of technical personnel.

Therefore, most of the processing plants have only one technician and part-time maintenance. It is inevitable that small problems occur in daily life, but the technicians have no time to correspond.

However, the flat sewing machine will have small problems such as needle skipping and thread breaking in normal use. Next, we will briefly introduce the adjustment method of the flat machines in daily needle skipping.

The high and low positions of needle bars

Generally, the needle model used by the flat sewing machine for medium and thick materials in the factory is DBX1, and for thick materials is DPX5. At this time, the needle bar height adjustment status is based on the scale on the needle bar,

For example, at the red circle, the third scale line from bottom to top is flush with the bottom of the needle bar sleeve.

Open the left panel, and adjust the needle bar up and down and its height with the red screw (4).

Needle and rotary hook timing (thread hooking time adjustment)

Turn the machine handwheel to make the needle bar rise from the lowest point to the top, and the second scale line on the needle bar is flush with the needle bar sleeve from bottom to top (as shown in Figure 1). At this time, align the rotary hook tip with the needle centerline (as shown in Figure 2),

Adjust by two screws at the red circle (Fig. 3).

Clearance between the needle and rotary hook 

Loosen screw 5, adjust the clearance between the needle and the rotary hook tip on the left and right (the distance is 0-0.05mm), and tighten screw 5.
