Disposition scheme for Circular cutter of computerized flat sewing machine blocked
A computer sewing machine operator in a factory reported a broken needle. After inspection, it was found that the moving cutter was stuck dead or not reset (Figure 1).
After further inspection, it is found that the reason why the mover is not reset is that the driver lever of the mover is stuck (Figure 2). After removal, it is found that there are wear spots on the drive lever, which can be lightly ground with a file and then smooth with sandpaper. This problem is mostly caused by excessive wear due to a long-term lack of lubrication in this area.

Make sure to drop a few drops of oil when installing, then insert the drive lever to try whether it is flexible or not, so that it can be assembled without stuck. When assembling, carefully adjust the position of the circular cutter and check the test seam before starting (Figure 3).

Emergency measures for damage of cushion spring of cutting blade of Straight Buttonhole Machine
The author has an 800A Straight Buttonhole Machine, and the sound of the falling cutter is particularly loud. Take the cutter drop adjusting assembly apart and see that the buffer spring is broken into five sections (Fig. 1).
If I want to order this part, it can't be delivered immediately for a while, but the factory can't stop production. At this time, I want to try whether there are other things that can be used temporarily, and let the machine run first.
Many other springs are considered. On the one hand, the thickness does not meet the requirements, and on the other hand, the elasticity of the spring is not enough. It was not until the end of the day that I came up with a solution: Cut a kind of beef tendon into beef tendon strips and put them in. Reserve 2 mm more than the required length, with a total length of 4.7 cm (as shown in Fig. 2). Then it was installed on the machine for trial use. The result was successful, and the machine did not make a sound at all.
After the new parts were bought back, the operator felt that the machine used before was very smooth, so he did not replace the new buffer spring for the time being. So far, the machine has been used for more than two months without problems.
This emergency method is now sorted out and shared with colleagues. If there is any error, please point it out.
